Patricia E. Sear

Patricia has been an active participant in the visual art field for most of her life. Originally trained as a commercial illustrator, she worked in this area for a number of years. Throughout this time she was involved in many solo and group shows, as well as showing her work in numerous galleries. For eighteen years, Patricia taught illustration and design at a major art school in Toronto. During this time most of Patricia's painting involved French dyes on silk and watercolours. Patricia's most recent work is limited to watercolors of African animals and florals found in the extensive gardens that surround her family's rural farm house.
